The Challenge
The Bridge Run is the region's premier running event — but it competes with dozens of half-marathons and 5Ks across upstate New York. The original brand had no energy, no personality, and nothing that made returning runners excited to come back. Every year since 2013, the brand has to feel completely fresh while staying unmistakably Bridge Run — a design challenge that compounds annually.
Our Approach
We reinvent the Bridge Run every year — new theme, new palette, new energy, same unmistakable identity. Each season gets its own custom messaging, logo application, color story, graphics system, promotional video spots, radio campaigns, a dynamic web experience with built-in registration, print collateral, signage, and promotional merchandise. The result is a brand that feels like an event, not a race — something worth showing up for whether you're running or cheering.
The Outcome
Seven consecutive years of creative direction have made the Bridge Run the most recognized running event in the Southern Tier. Registration numbers have grown year over year, the event draws participants from outside the region, and the Bridge Run brand has become synonymous with community energy in Broome County.
