The Challenge

To design an app for people curious about plant-based living — without the gatekeeping, jargon, or overwhelm that usually comes with it. The brief was ease: meet users wherever they are on the journey and give them a reason to come back tomorrow.

The Outcome

We built Camila as a personal assistant for plant-based living, structured around the moments of friction newcomers actually hit. Easy recipes for the "what do I cook tonight" panic. A curated feed of in-store products users can find at their regular grocery — no specialty trips, no mail-order rabbit holes. Inspirational articles and tips that frame the lifestyle as a practice, not a purity test. Games to make learning feel light. A boutique for the small purchases that signal commitment. And a community layer where users post, comment, and find each other — because the hardest part of any lifestyle change isn't the food, it's doing it alone.

The interface itself was designed to feel like a friend who already gets it: warm, unhurried, unjudgmental. Every screen earns its place by reducing one specific barrier to entry.
