The Agency, who was formerly known as BCIDA was unknown to the public. As a very difficult to remember and understand acronym, this did not tell any story of who this organization is and why leaders and the public in the area should care.
Our Approach
Our approach to rebrand and rename was strategic in order to drive the focus to the fact that The Agency is all encompassing in project development and the relationships, partnerships, and grants necessary to turn ones vision into a success.
The Outcome
The Agency became the recognized face of economic development in Broome County. The rebrand from BCIDA to The Agency transformed a government acronym into a brand that drives investment attraction, talent retention, and regional pride — and continues to expand under Hue's ongoing stewardship.
