The Challenge
Stormwater pollution is abstract. People don't see it, don't think about it, and don't connect their daily habits to its consequences. Traditional environmental PSAs default to guilt and statistics — and get ignored. The challenge was to make people care about where rainwater goes without lecturing them, and to inspire behavior change through feeling, not facts.
Our Approach
We built the campaign around one question: "What world do you imagine?" Each spot tells a small, relatable story — a child with a puppy, a mother in a garden, flowers in a neighborhood — and connects that moment of everyday beauty to the water that sustains it. The tone is warm and hopeful rather than alarmist. By anchoring the message in the things people already love, we made stormwater personal. The series was produced for digital distribution, social media, community screenings, and the waterfromrain.org platform.

The Outcome
The video series gave the Water From Rain campaign a human voice — moving the conversation from policy jargon to kitchen-table understanding. The spots drove traffic to waterfromrain.org and became a centerpiece of the program's community outreach and education efforts.
