Broome is Good Video Stories
A documentary-style video series featuring real people who chose Broome County — their stories, their reasons, and what makes the Good Life worth living.
The Challenge
Talent attraction campaigns often feel generic — stock footage, scripted testimonials, forgettable slogans. The challenge was to create video content that feels genuinely warm and personal, not produced. Real people telling real stories about a place that doesn't have the brand recognition of a major metro — and making viewers actually want to be there.
Our Approach
We identified residents from diverse backgrounds — entrepreneurs, educators, healthcare leaders, creatives — each with a compelling reason for choosing Broome. Each profile was shot on location in their environment: their workplace, their neighborhood, their favorite spots. The editing style is conversational and unhurried, letting the storytelling breathe. The series was designed for social distribution, event screenings, and the campaign website — each story standing alone while building a collective portrait of the region.
Video
The Outcome
The video stories became the emotional centerpiece of the Broome is Good campaign — shared widely on social media, featured at regional events, and embedded across the program's digital presence. They gave the brand a human face that no amount of graphic design could achieve alone.
